I found out last night that I miscalculated my time zone differences.* Not in a chatty mood, but needing to give my mother a message, I opted to leave a message on her home answerphone. To my shock she answered:
Karen "What are you doing home so early"
Mom "Leave work early and got my errands done"
K "What time did you leave work - it's like 3pm your time isn't it"
M "No, it's around 5"
K [light bulb moment happens] "ohhh"
An hour after calling (not in a chatty mood) we hung up. I guess she was in a chatty mood or had just been starved from Karen attention for too long. I was a good listener :)
*Virgina is 4 hours behind, Texas AND Arkansas are 5 hours behind and California is 7 hours behind.
