Bank Holiday weekend

As you can tell the end of my week wasn't a great one. To put it mildly, I was a bit stressed. Friday after work all I really wanted to do was to have a huge TGIFridays cocktail and go to the cinema. A good friend, Clare, stepped in and accompanied me. I had a great evening! Just what I needed after my week!!

Clare and I at TGIFridays
Then onto the movie - got to love Patrick Dempsey!!! (Maid of Honor was the movie of choice. Man, I love chick flicks!)
Clare and I outside the cinema. Can you believe it costs £15 to see a movie in Leicester Square?!!
Saturday was a pj day. Pretty much the whole day. Saturday night I went to Ed's flat for dinner and good company. His ex-flat mate, Clem, was there too. I'd met Clem once before, but as it was her birthday party I didn't get to speak to her much. She's a pretty fab gal. I much enjoyed Saturday night!
Sunday was forgettable. I think I was in my pjs all day. I did upgrade my iphone to try and solve my camera issue*, but it didn't fix it. So back to the Apple company for that. Joy.
Monday was a bank holiday here so I had the day off work - yipee! The weather couldn't have been better. I went into town for a few groceries and ant powder (I had ants creeping into the kitchen) and then hung out on my roof the rest of the afternoon in the sun. Lindsay (my flatmate) got back from her weekend trip to the midlands and her boyfriend joined us as well. The three of us stayed on the roof for several hours passing the time playing card games. A very fun and relaxing night.

Today I'm back at work. Sigh. The weather's still lovely and warm. It's hard to be stuck inside working when the weather's so lovely!

*more on that later

Exercise is a great stress reliever. It would help control your diabetes, too. Doesn't help me sleep, but I'm not stressed!
Hope things start looking up for you, girl!

Perhaps I'll walk home instead of driving. But then how would I get to work in the morning. hmmm :-)

Thanks for the suggestion. Exercise does help with dtress, expecially punching bags. Must find a gym to join. DOes Aerofit have a London branch?
