Zombie-fied

When I get stressed I tend not to sleep. Not because I'm awake thinking / worrying about something. Just because I don't go to bed. A lot of times I don't realise that I'm not going to bed and getting enough sleep til days later when my body stops functioning. Well, it's now days later. My "not getting enough sleep" started Thursday; you remember Thursday's posts - not a good day. Last night as I watched the clock tick over past 1:30 am I thought to myself "Self, you have to get up in less than 5 hours - GO TO SLEEP!" I think I finally fell asleep just before 2. Ho hum. My problem is not finding a remedy to sleep. My problem is finding a remedy to get rid of stress* - any ideas? :-D

A forgotten post: As I went to post this, I realised there was a small post I did last week, but didn't put it online - ops! Click here to read the post.

*Another way stress is manifesting itself is a lack of hunger. I'm not of the opinion that dropping a couple pounds is a bad thing though - so this, I can deal with. What's not so great is that I also suffer with diabetes - my diabetes is usually fine and rarely ever causes me trouble. Not eating for extended periods of time does not do my blood sugars any good. And when my blood sugar is down and I need to eat to get my sugar levels up - well, it's like trying to eat something just after you've vomited - you just don't want to eat and it makes you feel sick to eat. Ho hum. I guess I better make sure I eat something.

Hey, I didn't know you have diabetes. Me too--kindred spirits in yet another way, huh. Aren't we lucky! Anyway, I wanted to tell you to call me on my cell phone just about any time (except during church, please!) I have gotten your messages and hated that I missed you. Call again SOON!!

Hey, Mom and Kaci got home last night and they brought us something cool. Chocolate from you! Thanks so much! That was awesome.

I think I'll have a cup of tea later and break it out. Yeah, that sounds good. You should come.
